The objective of this project was to build a nondenominational church on a Farmingdale State College site plan. The design aspect of this project is based on the manipulation of light and shadows

-Possible outdoor chapel using one of exterior walls

Site Selection
I chose to place my building as close to the Horticulture teaching Garden as possible. Nature is and can be used as a source of meditation, which ties into the purpose of the building. I want the chapels to face the gardens. And the entrance to the building to face the elliptical. I also wanted for the church to be close to dorms for easy access to the students
